Guitar & Music TheoryBryan is a Texas native who began his music career opening for jazz guitarist Larry Carlton. He is a producer, composer, guitarist, and educator. A graduate of USC (BM, DMA) and UT Austin (MM), he has worked as a session musician, film composer, and sound designer in Los Angeles, Austin, and Nashville. Bryan's compositions have been featured on FOX, ESPN, VH1, Lifetime, WB, the History Channel, and the Food Network. He has worked with Bonnie Raitt, Lisa Loeb, and Kelsea Ballerini, among others. Clark founded Rainfeather Records, an independent label in Nashville. His collaboration with Erhu virtuoso Ma Xiaohui led to a performance for Chinese New Year viewed by 900 million people, and he is the first Western artist inducted into the Chinese Cultural Heritage Guild. Bryan's bluegrass band, Honeywagon, has sold over 2 million albums and spent 18 months on Billboard's Bluegrass Top 10. He taught at Blackbird Academy, Belmont University, and Vanderbilt University and is also a co-founder of Modern Music Masters. Additionally, he is a popular monthly columnist for Premier Guitar Magazine, and is affiliated with NARAS/Grammy, Leadership Music, AES, and IBMA.
